Turkey and Stuffing According to Deb


ingredients:
18 lb turkey
1 stick butter
1-2 cups water
1 chicken boullion per cup and maybe 1 extra
1 medium onion(chopped)
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 lb sausage roll
1 bag stuffing mix,
thyme to taste
onion powder to taste
pepper to taste
1-2 stalks celery.      
 Directions:
cook sausage and drain
--cut celery and onions into small pieces and saute in butter
.--put stuffing mix into big bowl or pot and add pepper,onion powder,thyme and cranberries. 
 when sausage done add to mix.  
when vegetables soft add water and chicken boullion.  
add all together and stuff the bird prior to putting in oven.  
put remainder in baking dish and heat up for a half hour before serving.  
when emptying bird mix both stuffing mixtures together to mesh flavors. 


when cooking turkey clean and pat dry.  
season with sea salt and pepper and brush with a little oil and add two strips of bacon to the top.
