Grandma Kelly's Irish Soda Cake

This is a delicious dessert for Saint Patrick's Day

3 cups flour

3 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup sugar

2 cups buttermilk

2 eggs

1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter

1/2 box/bottle of caraway seeds

1 1/4 cups raisins

1) Preheat oven to 350

2) Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs and mix, add buttermilk and mix

3) Combine flour, baking soda, salt, caraway seeds, and raisins in a separate bowl

4) Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients

5) Bake for 20 min @ 350, then lower oven to 325 and bake for another 40 min
